Know Your Black History
Pimp C was almost as famous for his interviews, just as much as his skills as a producer, songwriter and emcee. UGK has always been known for telling the truth in their rhymes, and Pimp C was specifically known for saying WTF he felt in his interviews.
In one of his more famous interviews, he spoke about the history of the Black Man and Woman in America and admonished listeners not to look down on youth who aspired to have gold and diamonds, as they were Kings and Queens in a former life.
This interview has been referenced in many hip hop songs and interviews and even sampled by Jay Z and Rick Ross for the smash single FUCKWITHMEYOUKNOWIGOTIT.
